Trust issues around Al are real and growing, as indicated by the latest global study on Al and public trust from international consulting firm KPMG. The report highlights a gap between the rapid adoption of Al and the maturity of its governance.

More than 54 percent of respondents distrust Al, with trust levels significantly lower in advanced economies (39 percent) compared to emerging markets (57 percent). Meanwhile, 72 percent accept the use of Al, 61 percent lack formal training, and half report limited knowledge.
Concerns centre on cybersecurity, job loss, misinformation, human disconnection, and algorithmic bias.

Designed as a direct response to these leadership concerns, international summit AI ON US will bring together 100 senior decision-makers in Biarritz on October 15 and 16, 2025. Participants will have access to executive briefings, a simulation of the EU Al Act, the signing of the first international Charter for Inclusive Al, an ethical innovation sprint, and strategic networking.
“Al regulation should not be seen as a hurdle to work around, but as a strategic framework to build upon – essential for market trust and competitiveness. Shortcuts in Al can be costly. A responsible, ethical, and well-structured approach delivers far greater value,” said Marianne Mazaud, CEO, AI ON US.
