Talend has joined Crown Commercial Service’s G-Cloud 13 framework.

In 2021 and 2022, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £2.8 billion.

For the fiscal year 2021/2022, G-Cloud is reporting a £ 3.73 billion spend through the framework, highlighting the increased interest in cloud services and solutions, said Talend.

The company said that this adoption is also driven by the UK cloud-first policy that encourages public sector organisations to consider cloud solutions as part of their IT strategies and planning processes.

However, there are other tech companies pushing the ‘hybrid cloud’ message that say the pubic sector is now adopting more of “cloud appropriate” stance as opposed to the government’s long-standing strategy of “cloud first.”

Digital transformation

Talend Data Fabric is listed under G-Cloud 13 categories such as analytics and business intelligence, electronic document and records management (EDRM), Electronic data interchange (EDI), Healthcare, HR, software and multicloud support.

“In an era where data privacy and cloud security are at the heart of any digital transformation strategy, the G-Cloud framework provides a world-class level of trust to meet these needs,” said Gareth Vincent, SVP/GM EMEA at Talend.

“We are proud to be part of the G-Cloud 13 framework, supporting UK government departments and public sector organisations with their journey toward healthy data to achieve desired outcomes to help serve its citizens.”
