Qodea, Europe’s largest dedicated Google Cloud partner, has acquired leading public sector cybersecurity provider tmc3.

With experience in delivering solutions for industries with high cybersecurity requirements, such as UK Parliament Digital Services, the Ministry of Defence, NorthWest Anglia NHS Trust, and the Metropolitan Police, the acquisition strengthens Qodea’s position in the public sector.

“The public sector is undergoing a transformation as it embraces evolving cyber security requirements and continued cloud migration,” director at tm3, Dan Cornforth, told Think Digital Partners. “This shift brings heightened complexity in securing both the migration process and the broader digital estate.

“Public sector organisations are increasingly prioritising robust, scalable, and vendor-agnostic security solutions that provide seamless protection across hybrid environments. At tmc3 and Qodea, we focus on empowering the public sector with tailored, compliance-driven strategies that safeguard their evolving needs, ensuring resilience, regulatory alignment, and operational continuity.”

Qodea CEO Tom Ray said the company was excited about the acquisition.

“tmc3’s impressive track record, deep cybersecurity expertise and experience working with clients with complex cyber needs are a perfect fit with our commitment to providing leadership in cybersecurity,” he said.

“With cybercrime estimated to cost the UK economy £27 billion per annum, enhancing cybersecurity is a growing priority for all organisations. Our acquisition of tmc3 will allow us to help more organisations embrace digital transformation securely and efficiently, enabling us to provide even more value to our customers.”

The integration of tmc3 will allow the combined entity to offer a broader portfolio of services, said Qodea.
