The UK Government plans to conduct an independent review into cybersecurity as an enabler of economic growth.

It has launched the McPartland Cyber Security Review, which will focus on “using cybersecurity to give businesses the trust in tech they need to digitise faster and use emerging tools like AI.”
The review, set to conclude by Summer, will aim to increase support for good cybersecurity practices, foster greater awareness of cybersecurity tools, and minimise costs for businesses and consumers.
Led by the Rt Hon Stephen McPartland MP, the team, comprising of government officials, industry experts and independent researchers will “explore the transformative economic opportunities cybersecurity has to offer.
