On Wednesday May 17th, Think Digital Partners were proud to host the latest instalment of the Think Data for Government conference programme. The day was full of brilliant presentations and amazing panel discussions, with insight being shared by our amazing speaker line up from data professionals across government, the industry and some excellent and innovative suppliers.

We have already published one piece of content focusing on the Gaining traction for your data strategy fireside chat between Tetyana Mykhaylyk, head of data analytics at Companies House and James Herbert, ceo of new start-up Pivotl, who were the conferences headline sponsor. We will be publishing more session reviews next week so watch this space.
We are already creating the agenda for our next Think Data for Government conference towards the end of the year and hope to release details in the next week or two. In the meantime, please take a look at some of the early feedback from people that attended this week’s event.
Matt Thompson, head of data strategy at UK Health Security Agency, “Fantastic range of speakers, such fascinating topics and a really good opportunity to meet with people from every corner of the public sector and beyond.”
Claudia Pifferi, senior product manager at the Home Office, “ It is such a great event with so much insight. For me, it shows that we are doing lots of great things but that there is always room for improvement.”
James Herbert, ceo of Pivotl, speaker and sponsor. “ I am blown away by the real community of experts and people with huge credibility at this event, it’s been very inspiring. I think that given where data is going, the potential for this community and this event to get a much higher profile and become more central to the heart of government transformation is huge.”
Samantha Glutz, account executive at Elastic, “ What a brilliant event! The quality of speakers is world class. Everyone I would want to speak with or listen too was involved in today’s conference. The flow of the event was perfect and engaging from start to finish. I have now attended 2 of Thinks events in the past month, one virtual and this one in person and I have been completely hooked by the discussions at both events. I especially liked the networking today, which was so powerful, with speakers, sponsors and delegates all keen and happy to meet and continue the discussions of the day.”

We would like to thank all speakers who took part in the conference and of course our brilliant sponsors who invest their time, money and effort in helping to bring these conversations and discussions into a more public forum to help the public sector in their data journey, so a big thank you to Pivotl, HPE, Automated Intelligence, Multiverse and Cloud Gateway.
