The Government Digital Service (GDS) has revealed three contracts worth £24 million for work on its GOV.UK One Login programme.

There has been a consolidation of the role of Deloitte, with agreements for work as a mobile app delivery partner and capability delivery partner, reported UK Authority.

The notice for the mobile app contract with Deloitte states that it came into force in February to run for two years at a value of £5 million. This follows the conclusion of work from an award that went public in February of last year and was set to run for two years at £4.8 million.

Meanwhile, PA Consulting’s agreement as a capability delivery partner also came into force in December to run for two years with a value of £9.5 million. This is providing additional capabilities and is aimed at reducing the risk of relying on a single supplier, says the publication.

Other contracts have been agreed over the past year with 6 Point 6 for architecture services and Experian to provide a cloud-based solution to provide knowledge based verification questions to users.

Several government services are reportedly now using a beta version of One Login following its first adoption by the Disclosure and Barring Service last year. In February the Central Digital and Data Office (CDDO) said work on One Login was progressing. Additionally it said it is working with departments to agree plans for the onboarding of all central government services between now and April 2025.
