Think Digital Partners launches Advisory Panel

Think Digital Partners gathers experts to advise and guide TDP and its community

Posted 16 July 2020 by Christine Horton

Here at Think Digital Partners, we have always gone beyond being a media and conference brand.

We act as mediator, introducer and connector between our supplier partners and our public sector technology audiences. We draw on a network of experts to help identify and solve issues or problems that our public sector colleagues encounter within their duties. This may be through the help of suppliers, analysts or the wider public sector.

We attempt to help create a more effective process or work towards a better outcome; the creation of the Digital ID Directory being one example of this.

With that in mind we have brought together a team of experts to help inform various elements of the business. Today we are delighted to formally introduce you to the Think Digital Partners Advisory Panel – a group of professionals that excel in their chosen fields.

As much of our content currently focuses on digital identity and cybersecurity, we are pleased to welcome both Susan Morrow, head of R&D at Avoco Secure, and Lisa Ventura, CEO of the UK Cyber Security Association, to the TDP Advisory Panel.

We also welcome Chris Farthing, CEO of Advice Cloud, a successful agency specialising in G-Cloud and government procurement.

The final person we are happy to add to the Panel at launch is PR and marketing expert Gina Hough. AT TDP we are always being asked for advice as to how to best communicate supplier offerings to our audience, so we’re lucky to have Gina’s insight, skills and expertise in the area.

“I am really pleased to be able to make this announcement. It feels like a natural step for TDP to create a board of experts that will not only help direct the focus of the business but also to ensure that the content we produce is accurate and as effective as possible,” said Think Digital Partners’ publisher, Matt Stanley.

“I would like to thank each of the four new TDP advocates for the help and support that they have given without recognition to date, and I look forward to the future and working towards a set of common goals.”

“I am over the moon to be acting as an advisor on identity for Think Digital Partners. Online identity for citizens and consumers has never been more important. I am looking forward to the opportunity to help steer Think Digital in this area,” said Morrow.

“I’m delighted to join the TDP Advisory Panel,” said Ventura. “Cybersecurity has come to the forefront in the last few months with the rush to get everyone working from home quickly and securely, and is often not considered by many organisations, especially small businesses and SMEs.

“The UKCSA aims to raise as much awareness as possible about the importance of cyber hygiene and being more cyber aware and secure and being part of the TDP Advisory Panel will help our awareness raising and education campaigns immensely.”

“I am delighted to join Think Digital Partner’s Advisory Panel, as we have similar values in client management and service levels and a shared vision of how to deliver the best service in these rapidly changing times,” said Hough.

“I am looking forward to sharing my expertise in PR/media relations and marketing for the technology industry, which I have built up over 30 years – helping firms make the most of the stories they have to share.”

“I am delighted and honoured to be able to provide support to Matt, the TDP team and clients,” added Farthing. “Advice Cloud has had a long and successful association with them and long may this continue.”
