Seems like having a UK Digital ID Directory was a good idea after all…

“We’re very pleased that the Directory is starting to attract the kind of attention that shows it’s a really useful procurement tool for this vital area of the UK’s Digital Economy,” states Think Digital Partner’s Director, Matt Stanley

If you’re looking for an effective, market-leading Digital Identity solution right now… why aren’t you using the UK’s first-ever independent Digital ID Directory?

Launched in June, the Directory – exclusively available from our homepage – was set up specifically to help buyers and public sector IT professionals looking to exploit a great ID technology.

As we stated at launch, Think Digital Partners, the company behind both the Directory and the hugely-popular Think Digital Identity For Government conference programme, put the work in to create this resource in direct response to conversations with senior buyers.

The Digital ID Directory

These included major UK ID stakeholders like Cheryl Stevens, Deputy Director of Identity & Trust at DWP Digital, for instance, who had told us that, “I think having a UK ID Directory is useful in bringing those with an interest or something to add to our area of expertise together in one place.

“And I know it will help me when I am prepping for conferences or looking to what is actually out there and with whom; it will cut down the search time, I am certain.”

Six months on, what’s been the result of the Directory being so easily accessible?

The good news, it seems to be really starting to make a difference. One metric, among many: we now get over 3,000 professionals from right across the UK public sector visiting Directory pages and listing each month.

A quick probe into that traffic shows that it is proving especially popular in key Digital Identity users such as the DWP itself, but also HMRC and the Home Office.

The Directory now also includes key players in the whole Digital ID ecosystem, from Forgerock to Consult Hyperion, Digidentity to GBG, Ubisecure to Signicat, Transmit Security to WorldReach Software.

We’re also delighted to be able to say we’ve got representation from the very tech SMEs the government is so committed about giving important public sector IT assignments to, such as CDD Services, Folio Technologies, and Meeco.

“We’re very pleased that the Directory is starting to attract the kind of attention that shows it’s a really useful procurement tool for this vital area of the UK’s Digital Economy,” states Think Digital Partner’s Director, Matt Stanley.

Stanley also confirms a raft of new suppliers are about to have their details included, but any ID contenders out there looking for help to raise their profile in the market going into 2020 can contact him immediately on matt.stanely@tdpstaging.uk.

And good luck to all those already on there, too!
