Colin Brown is a Lead Identity and Access Management Architect at the BBC.

With a strong track record of 15 years’ experience defining complete, cost-effective IAM solutions to meet complex business requirements, including acting as a subject matter expert and leading the business and technical design for major IAM programmes, Colin Brown continues to be an innovator in his role as Identity and Access Management Delivery Lead at the BBC. Background in integration solutions architecture & infrastructure design in banking and insurance sectors.

Colin will be speaking in a session entitled “Who do we think you are? The BBC and Digital Identity,” which examines BBC staff identity and authentication issues. In this session, he discusses the goals, successes and challenges involved in the two projects, considering issues such as concept and culture, the importance of taking an Agile approach, and the unique challenges in delivering user-oriented I&AM projects.
