Suppliers, on your marks: the next version of the Digital Marketplace, G9, has been announced.
From March, tech SMEs and bigger tech vendors alike will be able to apply to offer their services through G-Cloud 9 (G9).
The Government Digital Service (GDS) is also saying it expects the G9 services companion commercial vehicle will be open in May.
To give interested suppliers a chance to plan their applications, says the team, it’s sharing the provisional G9 timetable early, but does caution that “dates may change slightly”.
With that caveat, as it stands applications open on the 7th March.

While you can’t start formally applying online to be on G9 until that date, you can open a Digital Marketplace account now – which you should if you are a completely new vendor on it, too, of course.
Be aware that all G-Cloud 7 and G-Cloud 8 services will be removed and all existing suppliers who want to continue offering G-Cloud services need to apply to G9.
Also be aware that the G-Cloud application process will be changing and you are advised to go here to find out more.
