Entrust’s Identity Verification as a Service (IDVaaS) solution allows remote verification of an individual’s claimed identity for immigration, border management, seamless travel or G2C digital services delivery.
This innovative process utilizes smartphone reading and validation of electronic machine-readable travel documents (ePassports or eIDs), combined with ability to remotely access the trusted biometrics for comparison with a live, current facial biometric. IDVaaS builds on Entrust’s 25+ years of digital identity expertise and 50+ years of security innovation. It provides an ability to remotely verify that the individual is who they say they are, based on an ICAO-compliant eMRTD and a trusted ISO quality biometric matched to the individual.

Testimonials
“This [Chain of Trust] advancement will allow for earlier identification, predicative risk-assessments, pre-screening and facilitation of low-risk travellers through the entire travel continuum.”
Robert Stevenson, Director, Operational Management and Coordination Branch, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada
“We have had over 2.8 million applications in less than a year since it [the EU Settlement Scheme] fully launched to the public…Our use of world-class technology means that people can apply from the comfort of their home in as little as 15 minutes.…This level of innovation is unheard of in immigration systems around the world and something that we are extremely proud of.”
Brandon Lewis, Minister of State for Security, UK Home Office
“The [EU Settlement] scheme is the biggest of its kind in British history,”
Kevin Foster, Minister for Future Borders and Immigration, UK Home Office
