GDS issues latest Digital Marketplace sales data

Government says of sales going to SME vendors now, too

gds-webThe latest G-cloud sales have just been released by GDS:

Spend breakdown

£1,577,528,146 – current total (ex VAT) of reported G-Cloud sales, October 2016

55% of total sales by value and 64% by volume, from all reported G-Cloud sales to date, have been awarded to SMEs

76% of total sales by value were through Central Government, 24% through the wider public sector

£91,958,024 – current total (ex VAT) of reported Digital Services framework sales, October 2016

53% of total sales by value to SMEs (corrected due to a historical calculation error)

85% of total sales by value were through Central Government; 15% through the wider public sector.
