Know Your Traveller: WorldReach Software has developed a solution which allows remote identification of an individual during pre-travel. This innovative process enhancement utilises smartphone reading and validation of electronic machine readable travel documents (ePassports), combined with ability to remotely access the trusted biometrics for comparison with a live, current facial biometric. In essence, an ability to remotely verify that the traveller is who they say they are, based on an ICAO-compliant eMRTD and a trusted ICAO quality biometric. Similar to the Financial industry’s Know Your Customer (KYC) which is the process of a business identifying and verifying the identity of its clients for banking transactions, WorldReach’s Know Your Traveller™ (KYT) is a highly secure and user-friendly travel application process for: ETA; eVisa; Visa; Registered Traveller Programs; online passport renewal; and airport security facilitation programs.

VisaReach: Nations have an increased need to focus on security while at the same time expediting an ever increasing volume of mainly lower risk travellers. To address these needs many nations are employing a range of electronic authorisations at all practical points prior to the traveller arriving at their borders. VisaReach is WorldReach’s solution designed specifically to facilitate virtual borders and seamless travel initiatives for high volume, low-risk travellers for Electronic Online Visas (eVisas) and Electronic Travel Authorisation (Secure ETA™) programs, and is based on our Know Your Traveller™ (KYT) Platform. The VisaReach solution provides a security-enhancing channel extension to existing ETA/ESTA/ETIAS or eVisa programs, or a cost-effective replacement for inherently low-security Visa-On Arrival (VOA) schemes. Incorporating our innovative KYT processes, the suite of products are based on WorldReach’s proven travel document issuance solutions engine which has been in use since 1998. User friendly VisaReach mobile application includes innovation capability built-in through remote ePassport scanning, reading, biometric and biographic data collection. It typically takes about 5-10 minutes total for first time users to complete an application. The Agency side dashboard allows Immigration officials to entitle ETAs/eVisas based on acceptance criteria and entitlement checks, ePassport validations and watchlist checks. Applicants wishing to use the service must have access to a smartphone with a camera to conduct the facial biometric check. Enabled NFC functionality is required to read the chip. Use of the service requires download of an app, which can be linked from a website or message sent to the smartphone, and an enabled data connection. The application is supported for the Android OS as long as security patches are available and for the iOS current version and previous version. Service is fully cloud delivered as standalone, however integration with customer’s systems and data stores requires interface via the APIs.

IdentityReach: IdentityReachTM is an automated digital enrolment and claimed identity verification service capable of processing high volumes of applications without requiring a visit to an application centre for biometric or document checks. It should be considered in any situation where there is a requirement to verify the identity of large numbers of individuals, typically as a step in a registration or application process. It is purpose neutral, easy to deploy and scale, and avoids the need to invest in a footprint of physical facilities because it works wherever there is network coverage. End users provide their own mobile smartphone including internet access. All interactions with applicants are conducted via Android OS or iOS (current and previous version) supported smartphones, using standard features to deliver: a biometric check, identity document input (chipped ID document that can be read with NFC), and optional multi-lingual guidance through the application process. This is coupled with an automated back-end process suite that verifies the claimed identity, authenticates and checks the validity of documentation, determines eligibility, checks for watchlist alerts and processes that application through to issue, rejection or referral. It typically takes 5-10 minutes to complete an application, with no prior coaching or experience. IdentityReach is highly configurable and comes with a suite of management, workflow and monitoring tools that can be tailored to the needs of the Customer. Service is fully cloud delivered as standalone, however integration with customer’s systems and data stores requires interface via the APIs.
