Ubisecure provides feature rich customer identity management software and services to help companies reduce identity data breach risk, improve operational efficiencies, and improve user experience.

The company provides a powerful Identity Platform, deployed as IDaaS, Cloud, or on-premise software. The platform consists of productised Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) middleware and API tooling to enable single digital identity benefits across multiple applications. Features include single sign-on (SSO), multifactor authentication (MFA), authorisation workflows, user identity management, and pre-established connections to dozens of third-party identity providers (social, mobile, and verified).

Ubisecure’s Right to Represent is a representation governance solution to enable relying parties to verify the rights of individuals representing their organisation. Rights include financial, signatory or other authority. Ubisecure’s widely used Delegated Authority solution allows individuals and organisations to manage which users and organisations can act on their behalf to third parties to dramatically reduce costly, time consuming and delay-prone manual workflows.

Government entities work with Ubisecure to create frictionless login, registration and customer engagement while improving privacy and consent around personal data sharing to meet requirements such as GDPR and PSD2.

Ubisecure is accredited by the GLEIF to issue Legal Entity Identifiers (LEI) under its RapidLEI brand. RapidLEI is a cloud-based service that automates the issuance and registration of these highly assured organisation identifiers.

Key Products / Services / Sectors (USPs)

Ubisecure provides a powerful Identity Platform to connect customer digital identities with customer-facing SaaS and enterprise applications in the cloud and on-premise, with the majority of its deployments on-premise or in private clouds. Data is always stored according to customer preferences and relevant local regulation, with in-house support available to advise on appropriate options. It also provides personal ongoing technical product support and maintenance in accordance with individual customer requirements.

Ubisecure’s Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) APIs enable features such as Single Sign-On (SSO) and the use of existing user identities (e.g. social sign on), supporting advanced multichannel and omnichannel customer experiences. The platform uses open standards, including SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, GSMA Mobile Connect, and Ubisecure are involved in certain work groups to contribute to these standards.

Ubisecure has pioneered the availability of delegation solutions throughout the Nordics. Government departments use the solution to electronically automate the traditional workflows associated with manual delegation activities. For example, the Finnish tax office uses an automated solution where you electronically invite the party to a subset of the individual or organisation’s tax affairs. They accept this invitation online and are granted rights to access areas of the inviter’s account. Further, assuming the ability was given, the receiver of the rights can onwards delegate to others without the original party having to be aware and invite them. It is this automation and the associated reduction in administration and process that generates the savings – in the Finnish case, 100x reduction in transaction costs. Electronic and automated delegation is inexpensive, fast and effective.

Ubisecure is accredited by the Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) to issue Legal Entity Identifiers (LEI) under its RapidLEI brand, a cloud-based service that automates the LEI lifecycle to deliver LEIs quickly and easily. The LEI is a 20-character business identifier, based on the ISO 17442 standard and endorsed by the G20.

RapidLEI is partner-first and offers its innovative service as an API to global partners, to enable same-session LEI issuance to be built into their workflows with minimal effort. Partners are then empowered to provide their own support to end customers, with whom they may already have relationships. Naturally, dedicated RapidLEI support agents are on hand to help with further issues and with its own direct customers.
