Key Products / Services / Sectors (USPs)

The Okta Identity Cloud is an independent and neutral platform that securely connects the right people to the right technologies at the right time.  Enabling customers and partners to address every identity use case, Okta has built a set of modular components, called Platform Services, which can be combined to build new features and tailored experiences faster. The Okta Identity Platform consists of identity management, directories, workflows, access management, security insights, access gateway, advanced server access, APIs and SDKs. The Okta Identity Cloud is the original Identity-as-a-Service solution on the market.

Newer capabilities of the Okta Identity Cloud include the ability to customise and automate identity-centric organisational processes with Okta Workflows.  Now, complex user lifecycle management processes can be automated without code.

Taking the fight back to cybercriminals means bolstering security defenses with AI and machine learning technologies. At Okta, we’ve incorporated these practices in our Adaptive Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) product.

The Okta Identity Cloud is built to provide standards based protocol support including SCIM, SAML 2.0, WS-Federation, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and OAuth 2.0 Device Authorization Grant.

Okta utilises a cloud-first hybrid approach that leverages cloud efficiencies and network effect to provide substantial value, while ensuring a lower TCO. Okta is one trusted platform to secure every identity.

More than 10,000 organisations trust Okta’s software and APIs to sign in, authorise, and manage users. As the identity company that stands for trust, Okta sets an aggressively high bar for availability. We know how critical service reliability is to our customers across the world, which is why we’re committed to setting the industry standard for availability.

Testimonials

“To protect employees during the coronavirus outbreak, without disrupting our services to citizens, we're having to do things differently. We're holding council meetings virtually and via live stream, and 400 of us are working to support the public from home. With Okta, we’ll keep adapting with cybersecurity in mind."

Joe Brackenborough –Digital Transformation Manager Thanet District Council

"We have all these different legacy organisations, all with different legacy systems. Okta allows us to bring them all together under one umbrella, with a level of speed and efficiency that wouldn’t have been possible without that technology. It would've taken us five years using a traditional method."

Neil Goodman, Head of Transformation and Strategy at NEL

"Okta is one of the most matured and advanced AM tools in the market to meet both internal and external user access management use case's needs.”-
