The Digital Marketplace Contenders, 15: iSYSTEMS Integration

‘After our success in the commercial sector, we believe there is a need for the same quality of professionalism in the digital public services market,’ says this ambitious IT services firm

London-based iSYSTEMS Integration Ltd is a new entrant to the G-Cloud vendor roster. We sat down with John Samuels, one of its Consultants, to find out more.

Welcome to the Digital Marketplace Contenders, John. Let’s start by you telling us about your company; what is your value proposition?

We are an IT integrator and vendor agnostic IT solutions provider. Our approach enables us to independently evaluate and deploy the most appropriate, efficient and effective technology and resource solutions available. We guide and partner our customers through cloud, digital, infrastructure and development programmes through vendor-independent consulting and managed services, and offer one-off resources to entire project teams/divisions, delivered on a fixed price or time and materials day rate basis.

What’s the relevance of all this for the public sector?

iSYSTEMS can provide exceptional consultants and expertise on a far more cost-effective basis than larger consultancies. Whilst we provide big company benefits, we maintain a boutique service mentality. After our success in the commercial sector, we believe there is a need for the same quality of professionalism in the digital public services market.

Why are you on The Digital Marketplace now? What do you hope to achieve?

Despite being relatively new to the G-Cloud framework, we are already starting to establish partnerships and are in the process of designing and delivering consultancy solutions for public sector organisations. As a UK tech SME, we also want to increase our footprint in the public sector through delivering cost effective, highly efficient, quality consultancy solutions where our customers feel partnered – not pressured or dictated to.

How did you find the process of on-boarding onto the Marketplace, and do you have any guidance or others on the basis of that experience?

We did find the on-boarding process time consuming. However, this is a new venture for us, so this was expected. It was particularly difficult to gauge the content for features and benefits. We engaged with Advice Cloud to help us through the process, and have found the support provided through the on-barding and go-live by Chris and his team very valuable.

Great stuff. Finally, if Think Digital Partners came back to talk to you in a year, what would you like to be able to say you’d achieved in the public sector?

That we have a growing footprint across the public sector with a number of completed consultancy based projects already completed, underway and in the pipeline.

More importantly, I would like our public sector partner clients to say that iSYSTEMS delivered cost effective, highly efficient, quality consultancy solutions where they felt partnered, not pressured or dictated to.

Thanks, John – and good luck on The Digital Marketplace!

iSYSTEMS will be exhibiting at Friday’s Think Digital Government 2017
